Five Senses Retreat

Awaken your senses, awaken yourself

An invitation to awaken our senses.

To step out of the ordinary.

To feel.

To hear.

To experience together.

The Five Senses Retreat is an immersive experience featuring hands on ceramic workshops, contemplative gong and Tibetan bowls sounds and opportunities to discover the island of Pag.

Through engaging the five senses - see, hear, taste, smell and feel our true self is awakened and our inner resources engaged. With a sense of profound awakening we experience with greater intensity the magic of life within and around us.

CERAMICS WORKSHOPS

The workshops take place over several mornings in a friendly and relaxed setting. You will create your own tableware incorporating prints using local plants or traditional lace designs from Pag. At the end of the week your pieces will be dried, glazed and fired. They will be shipped to you about a month after the retreat.

GONG BATH SESSIONS

Building on ancient Tibetan traditions the singing bowls and gongs promote a state of deep relaxation. Finding the perfect setting is crucial so the sessions take place as the sun is rising or setting in a quiet contemplative surrounding. Your spot will be either among the olives, rosemary and oleander trees facing the North-East Velebit mountains or under the South facing pergola overlooking the Adriatic. The sessions provide an hour of deep meditative relaxation.

AYSE | OUR CERAMICIST

Trained as a sculptural ceramist, Ayse Habibe Kucuk is a London based artist with roots in South East Turkey. Using clay, her work primarily explores hand building techniques to create authentic functional and decorative pieces. An ongoing theme in Ayse’s work is the use of traditional lace-doily patterns from her hometown in Turkey, combining East and West - traditional lace patterns on simple ceramic pieces. Ayse’s tableware range reflects her family’s connection with handcrafted lace making (dantel) dating back over two generations. Every piece is handmade in clay, making each unique in her East London Studio.

DAMIR | OUR GONG MASTER

Damir started playing drums in 1990, and developed an interest in gong sound healing in 2018 completing an initial course. This was a natural development for Damir as shamanic drumming has been a passion of his for the past 15 years. In 2019, he attended Don Conreaux’s Gong Master Class organized by Mojca Morya Malek, a Tibetan singing bowls Master. In accordance with his altruistic attitude towards life, Damir has been a vegetarian for 30 years.
